Three universities have established a prize in honor of David Starr Jordan. It’s called The David Starr Jordan Prize. One of those universities is Stanford – name the other two universities.

#37 What is being launched into space this week in Florida?  What teacher and what student at Jordan are in Florida to see it, and why?

THE ANSWER: The GLAST (Gamma Ray Large Area Space Telescope) was scheduled to launch last week, but, unfortunately did not launch because of an engineering problem while Mrs. Doran and Jordan student Hide T.were in Florida. They were in Florida because Mrs. Doran's husband and Hide's father worked on the project.
