About Mrs. Richard Born and raised in San Jose, I now make my home in Redwood City. I attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, where I received a bachelor of music degree in music history. I have multisubject and special education credentials from San Jose State University. Teaching is a relatively new profession for me. Before that, I worked for many years in record stores and as a sales representative for companies that sold to record stores. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching old films, hiking, cycling, and exploring new places. I have a special passion for classical music, long Russian novels, and baseball (go Giants!). A born packrat, I have a weakness for collecting things. I have a husband, Tom, and a son, Ben, who is a very accomplished viola player and boy scout. |
