The Thinker by Rodin

`When I first saw The Thinker, I thought of a vulture perched on a rock, observing the world below. His troubled expression hinted that he was not happy with what he saw. The light hit him at the side, accenting his muscles. His cast-bronze body had the same texture that many of Rodin's other works exhibited. The curved lines of his profile never seemed to be quite parallel, making the sculpture look organic and dynamic. He was well proportioned and life-sized. This piece of art was one of Rodin's finest works.
