This portrait is comical to me because
of a man who is sitting there with his hand in the air, and
so angry. What really caught my attention was the
black and white image of this print and the detail of his dry point technique.
The look just made me think about what he was trying to make me see.
Was it that he was just left by his wife, was he fired from work, or is
he really happy? He lets us think. I like that in a painting.
