The Scream (Lisa Simpson)-
Simpson spoof By Matt Groaning
I like this painting because
of the tornado like feeling you get from the background. Yet there is a
cartoon- Lisa Simpson who doesn't quite fit the picture because of her
wackiness. There are lots of contrasting colors in this painting especially
in the background. The funny thing about this painting is that Matt Groaning
changed the original piece titled "The Scream," and replaced the screaming
woman with a cartoon character. The original painting was created by Eduard
Munch, a famous German painter. The only negative part of this painting
is the holes in the fence.
