Gates of Hell
by Auguste Rodin

The theme of "Gates of Hell" is the opposite of "Gates of Paradise."
Gates of Hell is not exactly fabulous. Horrible pictures are shone
on the border of the gate and on the gate. The people are screaming,
clawing, and trying to escape. The gate shows how people live life
in hell, and how miserable it is there - how it is not a place where you
want to end up after your life on earth. If you looked at this piece
of art in detail you will see people laying down, hanging from a cliffs,
falling from a great distance, and much more grueling pictures. The
color of the bronze is perfect for a hellish effect and Rodin carved the
bronze to capture the horrible life in hell.
