Two Girls at the Piano by Pierre August Renoir
When I look at this painting I see a girl trying to teach her friend how to play the piano. The shapes have realistic proportions. Also, since the shapes are so close together there is little negative space. The colors are nicely blended together and are not too bright nor too dull, they are analogous because green, yellow, and orange are next to each other on the color wheel. Some of the lines are curved and some are nearly circular which give a peaceful and happy feeling to the scene. The style is Impressionistic and even though the girls are a little blurry their shapes and activity is very defined.
