Art For Learning, My Personal Museum
By Peter D.
"Dessert Tray" by Wayne Thiebaud
"Nighthawks" Edward Hopper
"Three Musicians" Pablo Piccasso
All of my paintings really do not have a lot in common except for that I like them all. The paintings I selected all have a distinct focal point, or emphasis on one object in the painting, such as the painting "Dessert Tray" which has a tall milkshake looking object and is larger and brighter than any of the other desserts. They all also have good line , where your eye moves around the painting. like in "Three Musicians" your eye moves from the center guitar around to all the people. The paintings have wonderful color like in "Nighthawks" there are dark colors that are kind of creepy outside, and nice welcoming warm colors inside the shop. If I had unlimited money I would buy these three paintings.
