I was searching through art books, looking for a piece of artwork for my personal museum. I didn't have any luck until I saw this picture. At first I noticed the use of color. I like the yellow and red in the peaches, the green on the wall, and all the shades of brown. The lines leading to the middle of the painting put emphasis on the knife and peaches. First, I thought this picture was cheerful, but then I saw the knife. The knife could be just for cutting a peach, but since this is a painting, it probably symbolizes something, maybe hate. |
