.In the Moody Landscape unit we explore the use of digital tools to manipulate landscape imagery and create a digital collage with the objective of creating a definite mood. Students study the Hudson River School of American landscape painting from the mid-19th century, as well as other famous American painters such as Andrew Wyeth, Winslow Homer, and Edward Hopper. Then we use Adobe Photoshop to select various elements from different landscapes to create a unique collage with a definite mood. Click on the "Gallery" link to the right to see the results.
