Students learn a lot of new vocabulary this year. But, the best part of the 6th grade curriculum, is that it is applicable to a sixth grader’s life. Students will be able to understand that little tremor they felt last year. Or, students may gain a better understanding of why gas and oil are such a big deal to Americans. In addition, the content will be taught to reach a variety of learning styles. And, yes, there will be projects!!! Most student work will be placed into a labbook (spiral notebook). This labbook is essential to not only learning how to become organize but also to a student's grade in the class. | |
